AT&T just announced the latest USB Modems AT&T USBConnect Shockwave, AT&T USBConnect Adrenaline, AT&T USBConnect 900, which are capable of giving LTE, HSPA+ broadband speeds and DataConnect Pass pre-paid service. AT&T USBConnect Adrenalin & Shockwave will not only operate on AT&T’s HSPA mobile broadband network at present, but also the company’s upgraded network in the future.
AT&T USBConnect Adrenaline will be the AT&T’s first LTE-upgradeable device and the AT&T USBConnect Shockwave to become first HSPA+ capable device from the AT&T.
AT&T carrier’s first LTE upgradable Adrenaline device made by LG, equipped with an internal antenna, plug and play functionality and multiple OS support. Adrenaline also features built-in GPS, a multi-color LED status indicator and a MicroSD memory card slot supporting cards up to 32 GB of storage. The device can be used to access Wi-Fi hotspots. AT&T plans to launch this LTE upgradability in selected spots sometime in later year 2011.
AT&T USBConnect Shockwave from Sierra Wireless is the first LaptopConnect device from AT&TNext up, Shockwave is AT&T’s first HSPA+ upgrade modem to come up. AT&T will be launching HSPA + service by the end of 2010.
Huawei USBConnect 900 is AT&T’s first Huawei device which possess flexibility of a LaptopConnect device and it will be compatible with AT&T’s prepaid DataConnect Pass Pre-paid plans.
Price & Availability
AT&T USBConnect Adrenaline, AT&T USBConnect 900 will be releasing on October 17th. AT&T USBConnect Shockwave release date has not been announced yet.
