Late yesterday, we brought you the news about the Sony Ericsson’s first dual-core smartphone, that has leaked out by the Chinese forums, and it’s being called the Sony Ericsson Xperia Duo, though it is still not officially confirmed about the dual-core processing power packed inside the handset. This handset has made another cameo in a leaked image, which was released by the same source. These two leaks are leading to a clear indicator that it is getting ready to launch in the near future for sure.
By observing the above screenshot, we can assume that this Xperia Duo would be a bit larger than the Xperia arc, which means it should be sporting a larger screen than the Xperia Arc’s 4.2-inch screen, and it could measure between 4.2 to 4.25 inches. Xperia Duo is expected to be having a 8 MP camera or else there could be a 16MP camera and it would be the same Exmor R sensor of Sony. We can see that the Xperia Duo is porting same triple-button hardware on the front that we see on Xperia-branded phones in general, and the screen has also showing the same familiar widgets as that of the Xperia products. We can also say that it will be having 1080p HD video recording capabilities. It looks like it is having the same curved body as that of the Xperia arc. Android version of this handset is still mysterious to us.
