Verizon launched its second 4G LTE capable smartphone, Samsung Droid Charge last month. The phone has been priced at $299.99 rather unusual compared to usual $200 price tag that we expect for most of the smartphones. Even the other LTE capable phone HTC Thunderbolt 4G was priced around $200. But it didn’t take so long for other third-party retailers like Amazon to bring the price to $200 mark initially. Now if you think you need more discount on the price, here is your chance. Both Amazon and Wirefly have slashed the price of the Verizon Droid Charge phone to $129.99. A flat $170 discount on the price for which it is currently selling at Verizon Wireless on a two-year contract. The phone’s full retail price being $569.99.
Verizon’s Samsung Droid Charge packs a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Plus display, 8 megapixel camera, 1GHz Hummingbird Processor, 512MB RAM, 512MB ROM, 2GB of internal storage, LTE capability, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, mobile hotspot capability that lets you connect up to 10 Wi-Fi enabled devices to the phone, GPS receiver, DLNA support etc.
