The HTC EVO 3D smartphone has been on the air waves of the Sprint 4G WiMAX network, and it looks like a GSM version of the HTC EVO 3D with T-Mobile AWS frequencies is being manufactured by the Taiwanese manufacturer. An HTC EVO 3D handset has recently passed through the FCC, bearing the model number PG86300, wearing T-Mobile’s AWS 1700MHz band frequencies.
The European version of the HTC EVO 3D is also having AWS connectivity, so we can guess that the European variant has been going under tests at FCC, or else FCC may be testing the HTC EVO 3D that to be released through Wind Mobile or Mobilicity in Canada region. Let’s hope that the HTC EVO 3D handset will find a few more carriers in the U.S. as well as in Canada and we should hear about them pretty soon.
Specs wise, HTC EVO 3D is having the 4.3-inch glasses-free 3D display, dual 5-megapixel cameras, and it is a powerhouse with dual-cored 1.2GHz Snapdragon processor, 1GB of RAM, it runs Android 2.3.3, which could be upgraded to 2.3.4. It is also having a old front-facing 2D cam for video chatting or calling, capable of 1080p HD video recording in 2D and 720p in 3D, and much more sensational features under the hood.
