While the Verizon branded Motorola Droid Bionic seems to be the powerful smartphone that everyone is waiting for, here is something good news for you. Even though the Droid Bionic has yet to be released, but we know that it will be released very soon. Netflix has recently updated the list of smartphone that support the most popular Netflix app, and the updated list includes the upcoming Motorola Droid Bionic handset. It’s pretty good sign that Droid Bionic is set to ship pre-installed with the Netflix application.
Lets recap the specs of the Motorola Droid Bionic. It will be having Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread OS on the board, sporting a new BLUR UI with a new 3D look, and a new Spartan lock screen, featuring a bigger 4.5-inch qHD screen panel with 450 X 960 pixel of resolution, 1GHz dual-core processor, 1080p HD video recording capability with the help of its LED flash equipped 8 megapixels camera, laptop dock support, and powered by a powerful 1750mAh battery.

The Netflix app supporting smartphones list also included the Samsung Droid Charge, and the HTC Thunderbolt handsets. Make a note that the Netflix app won’t support the Droid Charge handset for most of you. So Droid Bionic with Netflix..interesting, right? While it is set to launch sometime this summer, you can however signup to receive the release status of the phone before it gets a release date.
