There has been a lot of confusion about branding names of Samsung Galaxy S II variants for the U.S. carrier Sprint. First, we heard Galaxy S II would be branded as “Samsung Within”. Later, a trusted source has suggested that it would be launched as “Samsung Epic Touch 4G” through the Sprint network. But according to a latest report made public by an Engadget leakster, there is a slight change in the brand name of Sprint branded Galaxy S II smartphone. According to the source, the phone will be called Samsung Epic 4G Touch. We guess there won’t be a slide-out QWERTY-sliding Galaxy S II for this year, but it will be blessed by Sprint’s super-fast 4G WiMAX speeds.

The same source has also revealed two mysterious handsets from HTC and Motorola. HTC’s next-gen device will be coming by the name of HTC EVO Design 4G, and the Motorola’s upcoming handset will be Motorola Admiral, lacking the 4G tag in its name. The HTC EVO Design 4G is said to be having the capability of capturing 3D videos and the 3D display that can be viewed without the help of the 3D glasses. Coming to the Motorola Admiral handset, we haven’t got any relevant information. As it is lacking the ‘4G’ from the name, we are assuming that this handset might be a mid-range spec’d handset.
