Back in June, we’ve seen a Samsung Galaxy S II look-alike Android handset called Samsung Galaxy R with lower-range hardware specs. This same handset is also known as Samsung Galaxy Z for Sweden regions. But now we’ve finally got an official word from both NVIDIA and Samsung in regards to its official announcement. Samsung Galaxy R handset will be packed with some slightly-reduced hardware specs of Galaxy S II handset and will be launched with an affordable price tag.
Samsung Galaxy R packs a Nvidia Tgera 2 dual-core processor clocked at 1GHz speed, 1GB RAM, 4.19-inch Super Clear LCD display at 800 X 400 pixels of resolution, Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS, 5 megapixel photo snapper at back side, an additiomal front 2 MP shooter for video chat, 720p HD video capture and 1080p Full HD playback, 8GB built-in memory, microSD card slot for memory expansion up to 32GB, and weighing 132 grams.

Price & Availability
The Samsung Galaxy R handset is currently available for $600 in Sweden. It will be available soon in North & Eastern Europe, South East & West Asia, Middle East Asia, and China. Check out more images, and the video after the break.
