After announcing the launch of the cheapest Android device LG Optimus T, T-mobile now comes with official launch date of Android Froyo powered smartphone myTouch 4G, to be released on November 3rd for $199.99 on contract basis.
The myTouch 4G can give download speeds up to 7 Mbps in good conditions as it uses HSPA+ 14.4 networking standard. The myTouch 4G is the second phone after the T-Mobile G2 to run on T-Mobile’s HSPA+ network. The device has been customized by HTC, exclusively for T-Mobile.
myTouch sports 3.8-inch WVGA touch-screen display with Virtual keyboard and Swype, Android 2.2 OS Froyo, next gen Qualcomm Snapdragon1GHz MSM8255 processor, Wi-Fi video chat, 5-megapixel camera(rear and front facing) 720p video recording, a pre-installed 8 GB microSD memory card. Its high-quality HD Camcorder comes with Screen Share feature, which allows customers to share or broadcast HD video and pictures they’ve captured.
