5 months ago, AT&T has officially announced about its first 3D capable phone LG Thrill 4G, but we weren’t given an exact release date. Today, via its Twitter account, the carrier has finally confirmed the release date as September 4th and it will cost you $99.99 on a two-year contract, which is a reasonable budget price tag for a 3D-fangled phone. In case you didn’t know, the LG Thrill 4G is an AT&T version of the international version of the LG Optimus 3D. The third party retailers are going to offer less price tag on LG Thrill 4G. You can buy the Thrill 4G at RadioShack and Target Stores for just $79.99. And we are sure that you will be seeing more discount offers from other retailers after a few weeks of the launch of the phone. There might be some chances, it will be available for Free on contract basis through the third party retailers like Wirefly and Amazon.
The LG Thrill 4G is AT&T’s 5th smartphone with 4G (HSPA+) capability, after the Motorola Atrix, HTC Inspire, Samsung Infuse, and HP Veer smartphones.
