Since August, we’ve been seeing the leaked specs and leaked press shots of the HTC EVO Design 4G handset. Finally, on Wednesday, Sprint has officially announced that it is gearing up to launch the HTC EVO Design 4G handset on October 23rd. The same handset is also known as HTC Hero S for U.S. Cellular and HTC Acquire for Alltel Wireless.

The buyers need to pay $99.99 and sign a new two-year contract (less $50 for the mail-in rebate) with the carrier to grab the HTC EVO Design 4G handset.
