We have already reported that Verizon’s next LTE based Motorola Droid RAZR handset will be launching on November 10th. But recently launched Verizon branded Samsung Galaxy Nexus handset’s release details haven’t been outed yet, although the registrations were open on the carrier’s official website . We already knew that the European version of the Galaxy Nexus will become available on November 17. According to a news report by the U.K. newspaper The Telegraph, Samsung Galaxy Nexus will be launched in the U.S. one week after the launch date of the Europe’s November 17th. That means the European launch will be the Galaxy Nexus’s first, later it will hit the U.S. territories. We are expecting it to launch on November 24th or else it could launch later than that date.
Here is the quote from The Telegraph:
At a recent Samsung European launch…the company confirmed that the European launch will precede the device going on sale in America and the rest of the world.
So, we don’t need to stick to that November 10th launch date of Galaxy Nexus on Verizon, according to the carrier’s MAP list.
Samsung Galaxy Nexus is the first handset to feature Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS and specs wise, it offers 4.65” 720p HD display, 1.2GHz dual-core COU, 5MP primary camera with 1080p HD video recording capability.
