Apple iPhone 4S handsets’ owners have been experiencing problems regarding the battery life issue. Apple engineers were contacting iPhone 4S owners and recently announced that "we have found a few bugs that are affecting battery life and we will release a software update to address those in a few weeks". As promised earlier, Apple has released a new build of its iOS 5 beta firmware to iOS developers to port it on iPhone, iPad and iPod touch devices. The new version Apple iOS 5.0.1 beta version brings (with the new build number 9A402) a set of improvements and fixes, including the fix for battery life issue. The iOS 5.0.1 beta supports iPhone 4S, iPhone 4 (GSM), iPhone 4 (CDMA), iPhone 3GS, iPad (Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi + 3G), iPad 2 (Wi-Fi), iPad 2 Wi-Fi + 3G (GSM), iPad 2 Wi-Fi + 3G (CDMA). iPod touch 3G and iPod touch 4G devices.

Later, you won’t be able to use iOS 5.0.1 beta on your iDevices and you should update it to the official public release before Dec.14th, otherwise your device would be unusable.
