We already knew that the Amazon Kindle Fire tablet is gearing up for launch on November 15th, tomorrow. The Kindle Fire is real competitor to the Apple iPad, at least according to a recent survey published by electronics shopping guide Retrevo.com. The survey suggests that most of the consumers are interested in purchasing Amazon’s upcoming tablet than Apple’s true iPad. It is also being heard that Amazon will sell between 4.5 million and 5 million Kindle Fire tablets in the 4th quarter of this year. Still wondering whether to buy the Amazon Kindle Fire tablet or not? Best Buy has announced that it will also sell the Amazon kindle Fire tablet from tomorrow for just $199.99. Amazon will not deliver the device until November 21st. But, good news is that best Buy will have the Amazon Kindle Fire in stock on November 15th. So, this would be the better chance for the first day buyers who like to have their have their hands-on immediately after the launch moment of the Kindle Fire tablet.
$199 is the very affordable price tag for Amazon Kindle Fire, which is an Android tablet. But still the device has managed to uphold the requirements of a decent Android tablet. It sports 7″ IPS-LCD 1024 x 600 pixels display with Gorilla Glass coating, a dual-core 1GHz TI OMAP4 processor, one-click access to Amazon’s vast universe of books, movies, Silk Browser, 30-day trial of Amazon Prime preinstalled, Amazon Appstore, Amazon Cloud Storage, plus 8GB of memory and it built based on Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread with Amazon’s own UI on top of it. But there is no camera, SD card slot for memory expansion support or microphone to speak of, and no 3G connection. It is having Wi-Fi connectivity.
