Since a couple of months, we’ve been hearing about a certain Sony Ericsson Nozomi aka Xperia Arc HD. This phone is also believed to be treated with new model no. LT26i. Nozomi is the first ever dual-core phone from the company, while the all Sony Ericsson smartphone are having single core processors at the moment. Earlier, in early November, we’ve seen a couple of leaked images of the Sony Ericsson Nozomi handset, showing off the front and the back of the device. Now, the folks over Xperia Blog, came up with the official-looking first press shot of the Nozomi (LT26i) handset. The official render is really in sync with what we’ve seen so far in leaked live images. We are still wondering whether it will be branded with Sony Ericsson name or not. However, Nozomi is set to be launched as Sony Ericsson’s new international flagship smartphone for the next year.
This superphone is rumored to come with 1.5 GHz dual-core processor, a 4.3-inch 720p display with 1280 X 720 pixels of resolution, 320ppi, 1GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, 12MP rear-facing camera with Sony’s mobile Exmor-R backlit sensor, 1750mAh battery. It will be shipped with the new Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS out-of-the box and you can also see the three Android buttons – the small back, home and menu at the bottom of the phone. A couple of days ago, another official render image (pictured below) has also leaked, which is looking very small, but it is showing the specs cut out. In Specs cut out part, we can see the camera section, mentioning ’1920x’, which is hinting us to believe 1920×1080 (full HD 1080p) video recording of the handset. Interestingly, the image is showing a new apparent production name of the handset, which is a lot shorter – just one word after ‘Xperia’ branding.
