[Download] AOSP Android 4.0.3 ICS For Motorola Xoom Available Now: Unofficial

Motorola Xoom

Late yesterday, Google has announced the base version of the Android Ice Cream Sandwich – v4.0.3, which is optimized for a wide range of devices and they’ve released its Android Open Source Project (AOSP). One of the “Pure” Google devices, the Samsung Nexus S has already been upgraded officiallu to Android 4.0.3 ICS by Google and the new grand Samsung Galaxy Nexus handset has yet to be upgraded to it, which is currently being upgraded to Android 4.0.2 ICS build. It is still mysterious that which tablet will be upgraded first to Android 4.0.3 ICS, but the folks over XDA Developers Forum, have already ported the latest build onto a Motorola Xoom tablet and they came up with a bootable version of the ROM. The AOSP Android 4.0.3 ICS ROM is being running for the Wi-Fi version of the Motorola Xoom.

As we are talking about an AOSP source (or we should say early beta/alpha version) of Android 4.0.3 ICS, you should keep in mind that many features aren’t working and lot of bugs need to be fixed. Camera isn’t working and AOSP build doesn’t include Google Apps too.
