Starting late yesterday, Verizon began pushing a little software update for the LTE capable Motorola Droid RAZR handset exclusively for the members of soak test. We just came to know that Verizon is also rolling out a new software update for the rugged Casio G’zOne Commando handset. The new update C771M080 is going to crush a few bugs and brings the Netflix compatibility with the latest version. Here is the full list of fixes and enhancements:
# Addition of the Android Security Patch.
# Enable Netflix compatibility with Gingerbread OS version of device software.
# Addition of the VZ Navigator 3D City downloads.
# Updated clock widget.
# Fixed errors when opening native mail app.
# Improved user interaction with display while proximity sensor is activated.

Casio G’zOne Commando users will be notified on their handsets to accept the update. Don’t panic if the update doesn’t hit your handset yet. You can pull the update in manual process. The update is weighing 18.6MB of size. To download the OTA update in manual process, users should move over to Menu –> “Settings” –> “About Device” –> “System Updates” –> tap Check New –> Make sure that the update is available –> If found the update, wait for some to finish the downloading process –> Device Reboots –> Installation should start now –> Follow the on-screen instructions until the process to get finished –> Done. After finishing the installation of the update, the software version should be shown as C771M080.
