In late December, we heard about a couple of new Windows Phones – Samsung Mendel and HTC Radiant, tipped by Paul Thurrot, The folks over PocketNow outed an image of the HTC Radiant handset. We can see that it looks like another Windows Phone HTC Titan, except a couple of changes. On the back side of the HTC Radiant, the dual-LED flash has been moved to the right side of the camera.
According to previous rumors, HTC Radiant will pack 4G LTE radio under the hood and other technical specifications are still mysterious to the tech world. But, the source is excepting the handset to feature a bigger 4.7-inch WVGA touchscreen display, powered by a 1.5GHz processor, 512MB RAM to keep things running, more powerful battery than HTC Titan’s battery. It will be shipped with either Windows Phone 7.5 Mango or Tango build.
There is no word on exact timeline on when the HTC Radiant will be released by AT&T. 4G LTE capable Nokia Ace is rumored to hit the AT&T retail markets in the U.S. on March 18th. We might hear more about HTC Radiant in CES 2012 event next week. If we’re lucky, pricing and release details will be also announced. PocketNow also claims that the device will not limited to the U.S. only, but also hitting Telstra Australia.
