Here is another rumor surfaced online about the next-generation Apple iPad tablet. Apple has planned an event for early next month. According to the sources from Apple’s supply chain, a Japanese blog Macotakara is claiming that sources in both Asia and the U.S. have told them that Apple is reportedly gearing up to announce its next-gen iPad 3 in February. Apple is also expected to launch the next release of its operating system – iOS 5.1 at the same event along with iPad 3. Apple has seeded the latest beta version of iOS 5.1 to developers last week.
The Japanese blog is also claiming that the first Apple iPad 3 batches will be available to purchase in early March. The previous rumors have also pointed out the Match release. According to the previous leaks, Apple iPad 3 will have HD display at 2048 x 1536 pixels of resolution with Retina display technology, 4G LTE connectivity, an 8-megapixel camera, the same case as the iPhone 4 and it will be powered by A5 quad-core processor. Hopefully, the new iPad 3 is the next device to be launched with Siri’s features after iPhones 4S.
Apple iPad 3 is also said to be offering twice the battery life as that of its predecessor, iPad 2. Good news if that following the release of iPad 3, Apple will continue to sell the iPad 2 at a reduced price value. Apple iPad 2′s price value could drop to the $349 to $399 range. However, the Cupertino company will put a stop to all these speculations and the flood of rumors on February 1st.
