Budget-priced Amazon Kindle Fire 7-incher has really changed the fate of the Tablet competition. At CES 2012 event, Asus has confirmed the most affordable quad-core processor equipped 7-inch Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS running tablet just for $249.99. But, it seems Acer isn’t bothering about reducing the price tag of its newly announced Acer Iconia Tab A200 tablet. As announced earlier, Acer Iconia Tab A200 is now available to purchase at Best Buy for $349.99. You will be able to get a 16GB Titanium Gray variant at Best Buy stores. Acer Iconia Tab A200 8GB variant costs $329.99. But, Best Buy has listed the 16GB variant only on its website.
For $349.99, Acer Iconia Tab A200 is offering Android 3.2 Honeycomb OS, a 10-inch HD display with 1280 X 800 pixels of resolution, 1GHz Nvidia Tegra 2 dual-core processor, 1GB RAM, a full-sized USB port, 2MP front-facing camera to shoot video calls and it doesn’t have any camera on the back side.
Good news is that Acer has promised to roll out Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update for Iconia Tab A200 tablet in mid-February, that is approximately one month from now.
