Just a few hours ago, we covered about the leaked details of the Samsung Galaxy S Advance GT-I9070 handset, but we were wrong about its MWC launch. The manufacturer has just officially announced the Samsung Galaxy S Advance handset. This is the first Galaxy S phone, housing a dual-core processor under its hood. Samsung Galaxy S Advance handset will first hits Russian markets in February, followed by CIS, Europe, Africa, Middle East, Southeast, Southwest Asia, Latin America and China. There is no word on U.S. carrier availability and price tag of this handset.
Samsung Galaxy S Advance comes preinstalled with Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS with TouchWiz UI on top of it, 1GHz dual-core processor, 4-inch WVGA Super AMOLED display, curved glass design, 768MB RAM to keep things running, 5MP autofocus camera with LED flash to record 720p HD videos, 1.3MP front-facing camera to make video calls, 8/16GB internal memory, SD card slot, HSPA 14.4Mbps connectivity, A-GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0, Allshare app, FM Radio, 1500mAh battery.

Samsung Galaxy S Advance handset also comes a set of Hubs – Readers, Music, Game; Live Panels, ChatON messaging app, Kies air and other regular features. The manufacturer hasn’t mention any specific details about the Android 4.0 ICS upgrade possibility for the Galaxy S Advance handset.
