Acer has assured us that the Android ICS update would be available in mid-February. As announced earlier, prior to the promised time frame, the most awaited Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich OS for the Iconia Tab A200 is rolling out through an Over-the-Air (OTA) download. According to the reports, users from European countries have been receiving the ICS update successfully. If you head into your Settings menu, and hit About Phone, then System Updates – the update should be waiting for you. Acer has not made the full change log available at this time. But we’ll make sure to let you know as soon as the information becomes available.

The update will be sent over-the-air to customers, who will be notified to download and install it. If not, just wait a while because OTA updates often take several days to complete the "rollout" process. Or else, you can head into the Settings menu –> About Tablet –> System Updates –> then tap on Check Now at System Update Update to see if the update is available on your device and hope your time has come. Don;t panic if the update doesn’t hit your tablet yet. The OTA update is being pushed out in waves, so keep checking for it. Anyone get theirs today?
