Asus Transformer Prime and Wi-Fi edition of the Motorola Xoom tablets have already upgraded with the latest and the greatest version of the Android OS. But, Samsung has yet to roll out the most awaited Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update for its Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 tablet. Now Wi-Fi Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 owners are reporting that the new software has begun rolling out to users everywhere in the U.S., but it is carrying the Ice Cream Sandwich goodies. The latest update brings the new build number HTJ85B.UEKMP P7510UEKMP, while the Android version remains at Android 3.2. The new update P7510UEKMP brings improved power consumption, improved performance for Stock Gallery, and it seems to fix the email attachment issues, system file force close issues, rotational lag issues and Wi-Fi reconnect issues.
But according to some users, the update haven’t fixed the Wi-Fi problems that came with the last update. The new firmware update also includes Android Market 3.4.4, which is a new version optimized for tablets. After upgrading to the new software version, the users will have an option to Stretch to fill screen or Zoom to fill screen

If you’ve got a Wi-Fi edition of the Samsung Galaxy Tab device and it hasn’t yet received a notification for the P7510UEKMP update, you can check for it manually by heading into
“Home” –> “ Applications” –> “Settings” –> “About Tablet / About Device” –> “System Updates” –> If the update found –> tap the “Download” button –> then hit Restart & Install button –> Device Reboots –> Installation process should begin now –> Follow the on-screen instructions –> Let the OTA upgraded process runs successfully. After finishing the installation of the update, the new build number should be shown as HTJ85B.UEKMP P7510UEKMP.
Please note that you can also download this update using the Kies software tool, by connecting your Tab to the PCS machine and follow the regular procedure for upgrading the Samsung Galaxy tab 10.1 to P7510UEKMP.
