Ahead of the Mobile World Congress event, ZTE has officially announced a brand new handset ZTE Mimosa X, powered by Android OS. According to the manufacturer ZTE Mimosa X is the first handset to take advantage of the Nvidia Tegra processor and its Icera modem. Mimosa X is sporting all the mid-range specifications and an up-to-date hardware under the hood. But, it will be shipped with the latest and greatest version of the Android OS – v4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. The handset in the above image is running Gingerbread OS.

The ZTE Mimosa X is set to arrive in the 2nd quarter of this year for an unknown price tag. The manufacturer has yet to announce the global availability of ZTE Mimosa X handset. This handset is also set to make an appearance at the upcoming Mobile World Congress event this month in Barcelona.
