Earlier this year, Verizon has announced the 4G LTE version of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 tablet at CES 2012 event, but at the time there was no word on exact release date. Fortunately, we got an update on the matter today. According to a leaked Verizon Equipment Guide screenshot, the LTE capable Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 tablet should hit the Verizon markets on March 1st. The device will be priced at $499.99 on a two-year contract agreement with the carrier or $699.99, sans the contract.
If you need a specs refresher, the Galaxy Tab 7.7 comes with Android 3.2 Honeycomb OS with TouchWiz, a 7.7-inch Super AMOLED Plus display with 1280 X 800 resolution, 1.4 GHz dual-core processor with 1GB RAM, 3MP rear & 2MP front cameras, LTE connectivity, 5100mAh battery, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, micro USB 2.0 and and the amount of on-board storage stands at 16 gigabytes. No word was given on an Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update.
