Verizon has yet to announce the exact timeline of the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS update for its Android devices, but a few days back, the carrier has announced the list of the Android handsets that will be upgraded to the latest version of the Android OS to hold the owners on to until that time comes. The list includes the Motorola Droid RAZR, RAZR Maxx editions along with the Droid Bionic. Motorola Xoom, Droid Xyboard 10.1/8.2. HTC Thunderbolt, Droid Incredible 2, Rhyme, Rezound, Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7, Galaxy Tab 10.1 and LG Spectrum handstes.
A few hours ago, we reported that Verizon is preparing to roll out the Android Ice Cream Sandwich update for the Motorola Droid RAZR and RAZR Maxx edition as early as next week on April 4th, while the HTC Rezound will get the update on April 6th. The latest buzz is that Motorola is prepping a new soak test or “an early preview of a new software” for the both the Motorola Droid RAZR and RAZR Maxx editions and the Motorola Feedback Network is sending out invitations to take part in tests for this mysterious “preview of a new software” ahead of a general release. What else could this be? Its’ anyone’s guess as to what it may include and I will probably assume that it is ice Cream Sandwich.
