The HTC One X’s update is 64.55MB in size and it is rolling out right now. If your device hasn’t been upgraded yet, do not hesitate to pull the update manually by heading into Menu > Settings > About phone > Software updates > Check For Updates.
According to the reports, the update doesn’t seem to fix known bugs of the One X handset successfully and there is no improvement in Wi-Fi performance. In some cases battery life is said to be taking a bit of a hit. Another AT&T banded 4G LTE capable Nokia Lumia 900 is also receiving a new firmware update, which removes the “purple hue which affected the screen of some devices in low light conditions.”
