T-Mobile is set to release the Samsung Galaxy Note on August 8th for $249.99 on contract. Although the carrier has not yet released the Samsung Galaxy Note yet, they have detailed a new software update info on its website. As soon as you get your hands on the T-Mobile variant of the Galaxy Note, you can download the new firmware update T879UVLG3 on your device.
After upgrading the phone with new firmware LG3, the device will get the following improvements:
- # Error: ‘Enter MAC address’ after entering MAC address
- # Weather widget does not show current location
- # MobileLife contacts addresses combined into a single field
T-Mobile has mentioned that the update will be rolled out between August 8 and September 30. The update LG3 will be available either via an OTA update or by connecting the Galaxy Note device to your PC and using Samsung’s Kies desktop application. You can check for the OTA update by hitting Settings –> About Phone –> Software Update and follow the further instructions to download it.
