It seems AT&T is prepping to release a Pantech-made Android phone very soon. A leaked picture of the Pantech Magnus (aka P9090) handset posted online ahead of its official debut. The device is slated hit the AT&T markets in the near future. The Magnus is rumored to packing some impressive specs.
According to Engadget, the Pantech Magnus will ship with a 720p display of an unknown size, an 8MP camera on back with an LED flash, along with a front-facing camera for face-to-face video chats, 4G LTE connectivity and it is said to be running on Qualcomm’s MSM8960 S4 with Adreno 225 for a GPU and a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, while the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS runs the entire show on screen..
We don’t have any information on when and where the Pantech Magnus will be unveiled or how much the it will cost. What do you guys think? Can it battle with Samsung Galaxy S III or HTC One X? Should other manufacturers be worried?
