AT&T announced today one of the latest additions to its Android lineup – thePantech Flex which aims at first time smartphone buyers, but it is carrying some notable specifications, while it should be reated as an entry-level Android phone. It comes with an Easy Experience mode, which arranges apps in an easy-to-read fashion, and provides quick access to frequently used features such as emal, social networking and etc.
If you need a specs refresher, the Panecth Flex ships with 44.3-inch Super AMOLED display with qHD resolution and it does have 4G LTE capability. The processor inside it is a dual-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz. There is an 8 megapixel camera residing on back side with LED flash to record 1080p HD videos and it has also got an additional front-facing 2 megapixel camera for making face-to-face video chats. There is an 1830mAh Battery, a microSD card slot and you will get 8GB onboard storage. Connectivity wise, it includes micro USB 2.0, 3.5mm headset jack, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and it will ship with Android 4.0 ICe Cream Sandwich OS.

Pantech Flex for AT&T will release on September 16th for just $49.99 when you sign a two-year contract with AT&T. For the same price range, the carrier is offering the HTC One X and the new Motorola Atrix HD. You can get the Nokia Lumia 900 for free with AT&T contract.
