Yesterday, ZTE showed off its Windows 8 tablet at an Intel mega event of hosting a number of upcoming Windows 8 Tablets in the presence of executive speakers from different mobile manufacturers including ZTE, Samsung and others in San Francisco. There are reports that ZTE is expecting to release the new Windows 8 tablet named V98, probably in the first quarter of 2013.
The V98 tablet has a 10.1-inch, 1366 x 768 LCD on top of an aluminum chassis with a beveled edge, weighs less than 700 grams and boasts an overall thickness of 8.9 millimeters.
It packs Intel Z2760 chipset (upcoming Intel Atom Processor), 64GB Built-In, 2GB of RAM and a microSD slot ( expandable up to 32 GB of storage), 8MP camera(Rear),2MP camera (Front), a 7,000mAh battery, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, tri-band UMTS and quad-band GSM radios, plus NFC and LTE . It has an accelerometer, proximity and ambient light sensors, a magnetometer and a gyro.
