Japanese based electronics corporation, Kyocera announced DIGNO S, which is a 4G LTE smartphone with largest Battery Capacity in Japan and rapid charging function. The smartphone is compatible with KDDI Corporation’s recently launched high-speed 4G LTE network.
DIGNO S has a 4.7-inch HD Display with unique salient features. It features the largest battery among smartphones under 5.0-inches screen in the Japanese market and a rapid battery-charging function. The handset is equipped with a large battery (2,520mAh), so the user can use continuously without fear of the battery running out quickly. The battery provides up to 1,110 minutes of talk time and up to 720 hours (3G) or 580 hours (LTE) of standby time.
In Addition, DIGNO S features Kyocera’s proprietary technology (Sugugoe) that allows voice commands to activate various applications. It also sports a tethering function, allowing up to ten Wi-Fi-equipped devices to link-up and take advantage of the LTE network. The DIGNO S is compatible with KDDI’s ultra-high-speed 4G LTE network(downlink: up to 75Mbps; uplink: up to 25Mbps). The device also comes with Kyocera’s proprietary Smart Sonic Receiver technology, which transmits clear audio quality to the user’s ear drum directly through vibrations in the handset’s display screen.
This 4LTE smartphone with largest Battery Capacity will be available in black, white and pink colors. But Kyocera didn’t mention on its pricing and availability yet.
