AT&T’s new Nokia Lumia 920 and HTC Windows Phone 8X smartphones went on pre-order yesterday at Best Buy online stores. Interested customers can place their orders on the Lumia 920 and HTC 8X for $149.99 and $99.99 respectively and are required to sign a two-year contract with the carrier.
AT&T is treating the HTC Windows Phone 8X as a “budget” model, but it has got some impressive features including a 4.3-inch HD screen, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 8MP rear camera with 1080p HD video recording capability, 8GB internal storage (this could be the reason for low price), Beats Audio enhancement, and it will ship with Windows Phone 8 OS out of the box. AT&T is also expected to offer the 16GB HTC 8X edition.
Nokia Lumia 920 brings PureView tech’s arrival on the Windows Phone and new screen technology, packing a 4.5” PureMotion HD+ display, 320PPI, dual-core S4 Krait 1.5GHz CPU, 32GB onboard storage, 8MP rear camera with PureView Phase 2 technology, 1080p HD video recording capability, 2000mAh battery, NFC radio, compatibility with Wireless Charging Plate & JBL accessory and more.
