Few months ago, UK’s leading service provider O2 secured an exclusive deal with Sony to launch its own smartphone, dubbed “The James Bond Phone” branded version of the Sony Xperia T, looks virtually similar to the Vanilla Xperia T. Yesterday, US Wireless carrier AT&T announced they will launch the Sony Xperia TL similarly branded as ‘Bond Phone’ on November 2 for $99.99 with a two-year contract.
Sony Xperia TL features Sony’s best HD capture and viewing experiences and the ability to share content across multiple devices through One-touch connectivity with near field communication (NFC).
The Android smartphone features a 4.6-inch HD Reality Display with 1280 x 720pixels resolution with Mobile BRAVIA Engine, 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor, 13-megapixel rear camera, NFC, 4G LTE connectivity, and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
Sony Mobile president and CEO Hazuo Hirai announced earlier at IFA event that 007 will sport the Sony Xperia in the upcoming ”Skyfall” movie. James Bond will use the Sony Xperia T in this movie.
As the official Bond phone, it will come preloaded with exclusive Bond content which includes behind the scenes footage, interviews, clips, wallpapers, ring tones, and more.
The smartphone will be available on AT&T for $99.99 with a two year contract on November 2.
