Sprint and Samsung have announced the availability of the upcoming Android tablet – Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1. Sprint first announced its version of the Tab 2 10.1 in early October, but there was no word on precise launch date and price tag. Finally, it has been officially confirmed Sprint will start selling the 4G LTE capable Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 from November 11th and users have to pay $549.99 and no need to sign on a two-year contract with the carrier. Users are required to subscribe for the carrier’s month-to-month tablet rate plan, which starts at $14.99 for 300MB of 3G/4G LTE data, $49.99 for 6GB of data and $79.99 for 12GB of data.

Based on the above rate plans, it is clear that Sprint is offering 20% more data than other carriers for the same price.

For 550 bucks, you will get a 10.1 inch display, a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, a 3 megapixel camera on the back, a front-facing VGA camera for forwarding video chats, 3G/4G LTE mobile hotspot capability up to 10 Wi-Fi devices, 7000mAh battery, DLNA capability and comes Android 4.0 ICS OS installed.
