It seems Sprint is gearing up to launch a budget Android phone with some impressive features. We first heard about the ZTE Flash handset in late July. Yesterday, a couple of live images of this handset have leaked online. Today, we are presented with the alleged official press shot of the ZTE Flash. Thanks to Twitter courtesy of @evleaks. The handset’s model number is N9500.
ZTE Flash will be mid-range Android for Sprint, which packs a 4.5-inch screen (we guess its 720p HD), 1.5GHz dual-core processor, a full gigabyte of RAM, and a 12-megapixel main camera (in fact it is close-to-13MP – see in the above image), 1.2 megapixel front-facing shooter, 8GB storage, 1730mAH battery, and Android 4.0 ICS installed and it will be served by Sprint’s 4G LTE network.
This Nexus lookalike ZTE Flash is expected to hit Sprint stores on November 11th for $129.99 after $50 MIR on a two-year contract with the carrier. The off-contract price is $449.99. Sprint is also launching LG Optimus G and LG Mach handsets on the same release date and if you are interested, you can now place an order on Optimus G handset.
