After several leaks and rumors, Meizu has finally announced the new MX2 handset in Beijing. Just like previous leaks suggested, the Meizu MX2 is a great device, packing some impressive high-end specifications. You can observe that Meizu’s all phones are similar to Apple products in terms of looks. In fact, Meizu id being referred as “Apple of China.” and MX2’s hardware closely matches that of the iPhone 5′s.

It looks like, it is carrying the similar specs as that of the Xiomi MI-2 phone, which was launched a few months ago. It’s a worth noting that its operating system comes pre-rooted out of the box and Mezu MX2 users will also get video and lossless music cloud streaming. It is set for release in mid-December in 16 GB, 32 GB and 64 GB versions, priced at ¥2,499 ($400), ¥2,999 ($480), ¥3,999 ($640) respectively.
