Finally, the much awaited Samsung ATIV S Windows Phone 8 handset has started hitting the markets. The device is now available in the U.K. and Canada. Earlier this week, the Samsung ATIV S was first offered in Austria for free on contract with T-Mobile. A trio of Canadian carriers including Bell, Rogers and Telus are now offering the ATIV S handset. It is now available in unlocked edition via Expansys UK for for £459.99 VAT inclusive, and on Handtec will offer it for £431.99 in the coming days.
Unfortunately, Canadian customers will have to sign for a three-year contract to grab it. Here’ the list of the price tags of ATIV S on Telus, Rogers and Bell networks:
Telus – $29 on 3-yr contract or $650 off-contract
Rogers – $79.99 on 3-yr contract or $600 off-contract
Bell – $99.95 on 3-yr contract or $599.95 off-contract
