After Nokia’s flagship devices Nokia Lumia 820 and 920, now Nokia is expanding its Lumia line by adding the Lumia 825. It would be an upgradation of its Lumia 820. The leaked picture of the device has popped up online in China.
Like Nokia Lumia 820, it is expected that the Lumia 825 will be running Windows Phone 8 Operating System. But the difference is that the screen of the Lumia 825 will have PureMotion branding which is not found on the Lumia 820. PureMotion HD+ uses better LCD i.e. IPS or in-plane-switching type which has more refresh rate as it uses Over Drive concept which makes it at least 3 times faster on refreshes. The display will have outdoor visibility, short pixel response time and it can be used even while you are wearing gloves.
The device will be packed with a dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor, WVGA 4.3-inch display, 1GB of RAM, 8-megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics and LED flash. The device will sport 16GB internal storage which is more than Lumia 820’s 8GB.
We have no information in which carrier the device will be heading to and what will be its price. But it is expected that Nokia will launch the device officially in late February of next year. We will bring you more updates as soon as we have on this.
