Rumors have already been cropping up about the possible release of the upcoming Apple iPad mini tablet with Retina display. It looks like there’s just one more thing for Apple fans to freak out over. In late October, Apple has shockingly launched the iPad 4 with Retina display(so soon after iPad 3), alongside the iPad mini tablet. According to some reliable sources, the successor of the iPad 4 may arrive sooner than we predict.
Japanese blog Makotakra claims that Apple is planning to launch the 5th gen full-sized iPad tablet in first quarter of the next year and those looking forward to getting one should wait until March. No hardware specifications were mentioned, but it will have a 9.7-inch Retina display and it is expected to be lighter and thinner than the iPad 4 tablet to attain the same thinness as the iPad mini. In fact, the 4th gen iPad is having thicker body than the original iPad. The source also says that the yet-to-be announced iPad 5 will steal some of the styling queues from the current-generation iPad mini model, and Apple may cut down the bezel space on the iPad 4 tablet.
On the other side, some rumors have that Apple’s gen-2 iPad mini tablet’s launch schedule is also set for sometime in March, 2013. Apple has yet to complete its global rollout of the iPad mini in many parts of the world. The first-generation 7.9-inch iPad mini unveiled with low resolution, but the upcoming iPad mini refresh will have a better resolution on its Retina Display in the same form factor. A new report also cites that it will pack faster A6X processor under the hood to power everything. We’ve also heard that Apple is expected to release the iPhone 5S handset (as the successor to the iPhone 5) in next June in 6 to 8 colors, like the iPod touch. iPhone 5S may feature a super HD camera, NFC functionality, an IGZO screen for Retina+, 128GB storage, and better battery life.
