The device released in November 2009 with Windows Mobile 6.5 has been successfully hacked with every OS including Windows Phone 7, 7.5 and 7.8, Linux, Windows Mobile in addition to Android.
Back in November, the device has been successfully hacked with the latest Microsoft’s Windows Phone 8 Operating System. There was no further information on how the device was accomplished and it just showed only a handful of photos as evidence.
Today, a hacker by the name of CotullaCode (from the Dark Forces Team) was able to get a UEFI implementation running on the HTC HD2, and run Windows RT on the device. But there is no instruction on how he managed to run and how well it works successfully. From his twitter profile, we have got several screenshots of the Operating system in action.
