Korean mobile manufacturer, Samsung unveiled the Samsung Galaxy S III mini back in October. But at that time, the manufacturer was rolling out the device with Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean. Now, we are seeing the updated Android 4.1.2 on the device.
Samsung is now shipping the device with the newer Android version 4.1.2 on board in Indonesia and Vietnam. The New version of Jelly bean features context sensitive ‘Page Buddy’ home screen page, Multi-Window, Paper Artist, Smart Rotation, Pop-Up Video/ Browser/Note apps, Photo Note/Photo Frame, Easy Clip, a new S Planner and email apps, a new gallery app, a new group cast features for photo sharing, camera enhancements and more.
If you wish to buy the device, you can note that it will come with pre-installed Android 4.1.2, a 4-inch WVGA Super AMOLED display, HSPA, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, DLNA, NFC, 5MP rear camera, VGA front-facing camera, 1 GB of RAM, Dual-core 1GHz Nova Thor U8420 processor, 8GB/16GB of internal memory and microSD slot.
Currently, the device is available in blue and white. But starting next month, the Galaxy S III mini will be available in three colors: Black, Grey and red.
For now, the handset with pre-installed Android 4.1.2 will be available in Vietnam and Indonesia only. We are hoping that it will also be available in other regions shortly (not in the US). The device is now available for around 400 Euros.
