A couple of days ago, AT&T has launched the budget priced Pantech Discover 720p Android phone at CES event in Las Vegas and also confirmed January 11th release date for the device. It looks like, AT&T isn’t the only carrier to carry the Pantech 720p phone this season. The manufacturer is the prepping the second 720p Android phone exclusively for the United Sates. The folks over UnwiredView (courtesy of @evleaks) have revealed out the press shot of the upcoming Pantech Perception handset, which is on its way to the U.S. to launch on Big red network.
Pantech Perception is having the similar specs like Discover, including its 720p display (1196 x 720 pixels) with an unspecified size, Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8960 dual-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz, 4G LTE connectivity, and it has got rounded corners, Details are a bit scarce. But, the model number is ADR930L. According to the GLBenchmark performance of the Pantech ADR930L, the device is said to be running with Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich.
Unfortunately, the source hasn’t confirmed the Pantech Perception pricing and possible launch date yet. Expect it to hit Verizon very soon for a low-price point. AT&T has set just $50 price tag with a two-year contract for the Pantech Discover handset.
