In January this year, an Android Mini PC, MK802 was available for sale through Amazon for $35. This device can be run virtually on any modern television or monitor since this tiny little device can be plugged in to any HDMI display.
For now, a new Android Mini PC was shown off at CES 2013 in Las Vegas. The Mini RK3066 is pretty similar to MK802 in function. The device is packed with a 1.6 GHz dual-core Cortex A9 processor, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage, microSD card for expanding the internal memory, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth, DLNA, micro USB, full-size USB, female HDMI port and 3.5mm headset jack. The Mini RC3066 Pc is running Google’s Android 4.1 Jelly Bean mobile OS under the hood.
You can also compare the device with its predecessor MK802 in its specification, the MK802 sports a 1.5GHz Cortex-A8 processor, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage, microSD support, Wi-Fi b/g/n, DLNA, micro USB, full-size USB, HDMI and it will come with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
As reported by the source, the RK3066 Mini PC is priced at $55 and $5 shipping charge. But we are not sure from where to order this device as of now.
When we have more info about the availability of the device, we’ll be back with more updates.
