Curious as to what HTC’s upcoming Android flagship smartphone might look like? The HTC M7, which is widely believed to be the highly anticipated upcoming 1080p Android phone. Well, UnwiredView’s (courtesy of @evleaks) was just sent an alleged press image of this handset in a quite different design.
We are not sure that the handset in the above render image is real. It looked a little bit unnatural. There’s no HTC branding on the front side. There’s a grille-work (stereo speakers?) at the top and bottom of the handset, and it has got an edge to edge display. It could be an animation image, pulled from SIM insertion tutorial of the device. We guess the HTC M7 handset will look something similar to what we see above.
Coming to Specs part, the M7 will join the new elite full 1080p HD, which is going to be the main selling point of it. Latest rumors suggest a 4.7-inch display with pixel density of 468PPI, 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon quad-core processor, 2 gigabytes of RAM, 32GB of internal flash storage, and it will run Android Jelly Bean OS with the latest version of HTC’s Sense UI enhancements, Sense 5. Sources also cited it will have 1080p video capturing capable front-facing 2MP shooter, and a 13MP main camera with larger f/2.0 lens with Cinesensor, Both the rear camera and two-megapixel front cam should be capable of 1080p video capture. It is also rumored to feature offer IR capabilities, and Beats Amplifier.
HTC M7 will be officially announced MWC next month in Barcelona. Stay tuned for more updates on the matter, and we will bring you all of the gory details in the coming days. So is this the real image? Do you think this it what we’ll see at the event? What do you think guys? Can you spot any faults of this Photoshop job?
