Amazon is back to offer another device from Motorola, the Droid RAZR HD for $50 only for new Verizon customers. Recently Amazon Wireless started offering the Droid RAZR MAXX HD for $100 on a two-year contract with Verizon Wireless. The price is lower than what Wirefly had offered($150 on contract) for the same device some days ago.
For new customers of Verizon, a two-year contract agreement is mandatory to avail the RAZR HD for $49.99. If you are already a Verizon subscriber and wish to buy the RAZR HD, you’ll have to pay $99 with a two-year contract. The same device is now being offered by Verizon as well for $199.99.
The Motorola Droid RAZR HD is packed with a 4.7-inch Super AMOLED display with 1280 x 700 pixels of resolution, Qualcomm chipset with a dual-core Krait CPU clocked at 1.5GHz, Adreno 225 GPU, an 8 megapixel camera on the back side with LED flash to record 1080p HD videos, a front-facing 1.3 megapixel camera, 1GB RAM, 12GB internal storage, a microSD slot for memory expansion up to 32GB, micro USB 2.0, dual band 802.11 Wi-Fi b/g/n, NFC radio, Bluetooth 4.0, an HDMI port, 2530mAh battery and more. When Verizon introduced the device to its customer, it was powered by Android 4.0 ICS but in December last year, they rolled out Android 4.1 Jelly Bean for the device.
