Overly anxious Android fans who are eagerly waiting to see the HTC M7 handset, will see its official debut at its events on February 19th in London and New York City. At the company’s year end party in Taipei, some Taiwanese folks have got some glimpses of the HTC M7. The company’s chairman Peter Chou showed off the upcoming white version of the M7 phone, and he also captured some snaps of the crowd at HTC year end part.
The HTC M7 device he was holding at the event, has rear camera with LED flash on its left side. This aligns nicely with earlier leaked press images and live images. Mr. Chou also confirmed the handset’s original name by repeatedly screaming it – HTC, HTC, M7, M7, M7, and he thanked the M7 team to finish up the new product by working overtime. We already heard the device will be available to purchase on March 8th, first hitting the stores in UK and the rest of Europe, followed by the U.S. release. Recent reported also suggested it will start shipping before this month’s end.
At the front there’s a 4.7-inch 1080p HD display, and on the back there is a 13MP primary camera. It has a quad-core processor under the hood, while it houses 16GB onboard storage+SD card slot, and it will ship with Android Jelly Bean with new HTC Sense 5 on top of it.
We’ll have to wait for the official announcement to confirm the price and U.S. availability of the HTC M7 handset. HTC is also rumored to announce a couple of other Android phones – M4 and G2 at the same event. We are just three weeks away form now.
