In December last year we came across Asus ME371MG tablet. It was said that this will be an affordable tablet and which may be priced on par with its look alike Nexus 7 ($199 to $249 range). More details were awaited at CES 2013 which was held last month, but in vain. Well at least now we are seeing its price and retail names.
This time the leak has given an interesting name to the Asus ME371MG tablet, Fonepad K004. The price is also interesting, it will reportedly be priced at 7900 Thai Baht which comes to around $265. This price has been revealed by a Thai Online retailer, meedate.com. While the name is revealed by Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Indonesia website, postel.go.id.

This tablet is equipped with an Intel Atom Z2420 1.2GHz processor, 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory. The IPS display has a diagonal of 7 inches with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels and of course not missing a module GPS, WiFi and Bluetooth built-in. The version ASUS ME371MG indicates that a 3G modem is integrated. The operating system is Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Now, the tablet is expected to be showcased at MWC, Barcelona Spain.
