ZTE had already started offering the Blade C V889S smartphone for 699 CNY in China and it is being offered by Chinese online retailer, 360buy. It is the only device running Android 4.1 Jelly Bean mobile operating system under the hood, among the Blade Series of Android powered devices offered by ZTE so far. Earlier at the time of announcement, even though there was no official information about the availability of the device in Europe, the device was expected to be made available in the said region very soon. Now, the device will be available in the UK.
The ZTE Blade C is powered by a dual-core 1GHz MediaTek MT6577 processor clocked at 1.2 GHz with a 4-inch WVGA display, a PowerVR SGX 531 graphics processor, a 3MP rear camera, a 512MB RAM, 4GB of internal storage, a 1600mAh battery to run the device. The device has a 124 x 64 x 11 mm in dimension, a 480 x 800 pixels, a 233 ppi, micro USB, Bluetooth 4.0 and supports IMAP, POP3 and SMTP.
The ZTE Blade C is expected to be showcased at the Mobile World Congress 2013 in this month which is just three weeks away. You can note that last month, ZTE announced the ZTE Grand S smartphone at CES 2013 event in Las Vegas.
The ZTE Blade C will be available priced at £150. Although, we have come to know the price tag of the device, there’s no further information to which carrier the device will be heading to, and when it will be available in the market. We’ll be back here with more updates.
