Today, LG Optimus G smartphone bearing model number LG-E977 has been approved by SGCH (ANATEL). It means the device will be available soon in Brazil. The LG Optimus G E977 was also seen at Bluetooth.org, where the Geographic Availability is specified as “South America”.
The LG Optimus G runs Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich OS with sports a 4.7-inch True IPS-HD display (1280 X 720p resolution) with 320ppi, powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro APQ8064 quad-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz mobbed with an Adreno 320 GPU, 2GB RAM to keep things running, 13 megapixel rear-facing camera, a front-facing 1.3 megapixel shooter for forwarding video chats, micro USB 2.0, Bluetooth 4.0, 802.11 Wi-Fi a/b/g/n, 3.5mm headset jack, and 2100mAH battery to power everything.
The device supports 1900/1800/900/850 MHz (I) / 1900 (II) / 850 (V) MHz, GSM LTE 2600 (B7) MHz, W-CDMA 2100.
Last week, the LG Optimus G was listed at a Finnish online retailer for pre-order and the device will be delivered beginning March 4.
