A new report has suggested that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S IV will have floating touch technology which can be useful to hover over the screen easily by using user’s finger as a cursor. Coupled with Samsung’s Air View, it will let you quickly browse a folder’s contents without having to open it. The feature is found on the Sony Xperia Sola smartphone.
It is further reported that at the time of official announcement, the Samsung Galaxy S IV will be powered by Google’s Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean out of the box but later, it will be updated to Android 4.2.2 version. From previously leaked different Benchmark results, we already confirmed that the device will be running the 4.2.1 Jelly Bean version. A new camera feature called Samsung orb which can capture image in 360 degree is expected to be accessible to the Galaxy S IV user.
It is not the only information regarding the specs of the device that we have found today. Coming to the display, Galaxy S IV will sport a new type of AMOLED screen technology called Green PHOLED which uses a phosphorescent material made of green and yellow parts. By using this technology, the upcoming Samsung’s Galaxy S IV screen is expected to be 25 % more power efficient.
The smartphone expected to be made out of plastic body may be packed with a 4.99-inch display, 2GB of RAM, 13MP Rear-facing camera. The device is also expected to come with Smart Scroll and Smart Pause features.
The Galaxy S IV is expected to be available in Black and white colors with 16, 32, and 64GB variants and will be announced on March 14 at New York City.
